| Product Specialist We are looking for high caliber sales staff – successful employees must be go-getters, have a professional appearance, be intellectually strong, have solid prospecting skills and have a passion for sales. We train employees pertaining to our products, the industry, applicable legislation, and so forth and, after training, they are assessed and have to pass such assessments with 95% before they are permitted to sell the client's products. Should they be unable to pass said assessments it will lead to the termination of their employment. We also apply clawbacks to Product Specialists’ incentives if a new member, who bought for the Product Specialist, cancels his/her membership, allows it to lapse or fails to pay the contribution if such member has been on the client's membership for less than 3 months. We offer the following guaranteed incentive and remuneration structure options: Guarantee: For the first three months’ of employment only, the following guaranteed incentives will be paid: • For first month (Training Month) guaranteed incentive amount of R15 000 – 00 (CTC) (with no other incentives) • For second month (Development Month) guaranteed incentive amount of R12 500 – 00 (CTC) (with incentives for issued activated applications submitted) • For third month (Career Decision Month) guaranteed incentive amount of R10 000 – 00 (CTC) (with incentives for issued activated applications submitted) This guarantee incentive period will expire after the third month and therefore no further guaranteed incentives will be paid for any period thereafter. Remuneration Options: By the 25th day of third month (Career Decision Month) the Product Specialist has to inform SPECTRAMED, which remuneration structure option s/he chooses to apply effective 1st of following / fourth month. The two options are: 1. Product Specialist – Category A Soft loan salary of maximum R15 000 - 00 per month (CTC), where each month’s sales performance in terms of % of target reached will determine the % of the soft loan salary that the Product Specialist will earn in the following month. In addition, incentives will be earned as per the incentive schedule, signed upon employment, for issued, activated applications submitted. An addition incentive amount of R12 500 will be earned if the Product Specialist reaches R135 001 Monthly Premium Income (MPI) or more calculated on the activated applications submitted for the month. The target of a Product Specialist – Category A is R80 000 – 00 Monthly Premium Income (MPI) and 40 application forms per month. To determine the % of the soft loan salary payable in the following month, the average of the MPI portion of target (R80 000) and application portion of target (40 applications) will be used. I.e. Sales of R20 000 (25%) and 40 applications (100%) = 62.5% of the soft loan salary thus R9 375 – 00 (CTC). If this option is chosen, the Product Specialist will not be allowed to apply or request to change to the structure of Product Specialist – Category C 2. Product Specialist – Category C In this category remuneration is entirely performance based, thus the Product Specialist will only earn incentives. S/he will receive incentives according to incentive schedule, signed upon employment. In addition to this incentive amount the Product Specialist can also earn an additional incentive amount of R7500 if s/he reaches R80 001 MPI calculated on the activated applications submitted for the month; OR R12 500 if s/he reaches R135 001 or more MPI calculated on the activated applications submitted for the month. The target of a Product Specialist – Category C is R20 000 – 00 Monthly Premium Income (MPI) and 10 applications. *Minimum Qualification Grade 12 *Experience Extensive sales experience ("hard selling”) • Extensive prospecting experience including cold calling • Proven sales track record • Previous experience in medical aid / insurance industry advantageous Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:- • Sales process knowledge • Ability to prospect and generate sales from prospecting • Extremely target driven • Interpersonal and Customer relation skills • Enjoy interacting with and meeting people • Excellent communication skills • Telephone etiquette • Computer skills – Outlook, Word, Excel • Skilled in the operation of general office equipment – Fax, copier, etc. • Initiative and sound judgment • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Self-confident • Professional • Energetic / enthusiastic • Emotional maturity and stability • Presentable and well groomed – professional appearance Other Requirement • Own reliable transport • Valid drivers license Key Outputs • Reach monthly sales target • Manage sales profile • Extremely good product knowledge • Convey a positive, professional, ethical image of the client CONTACT: HILTON DAVIS AT (011)463-3912 OR FAX CV (011) 463-0101 AND MENTION THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR | |
