| (EE) SALES REP The value proposition of a Sales Activator is to provide the company with a competitive advantage at the Customer face when an order is placed, ensuring that the portfolio of brands is available in the right place, in the right quantities, at the right time. In owning the transactional relationship with the Customer, the Sales Activator can ensure that the company offers an Unrivalled Sales Experience to all DSS Customers and establish the company as the Benchmark Supplier within the FMCG industry by consistently meeting (and exceeding) Customer expectations. The Sales Activator as the human interface of the brands, also gives the company the flexibility to deploy creative service offerings and deliver differentiated Customer and Consumer experiences in an effective way (that is not possible through a 3rd party). Grade 12: • Valid Code 08 Drivers license • Basic Supply chain and Distribution knowledge Desirable: • Tertiary qualification (preferably in Marketing) • Previous experience as a representative within a FMCG environment Skills/Competencies: • Creative Thinking • Make things happen – Self motivated with ability to work independently • Teamwork • Good communicator • Outstanding interpersonal skills • Highly presentable • Enjoys working with people and solving problems • Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes. • Fluent in English and one local language • Excellent negotiation skills • Good commercial acumen | |
