I do recruitment for a well established insurance company who is willing to give a few selected candidates a chance to become a financial planner and grow within the company.



The company is also willing to train and mentor the sales drive individuals chosen. (This training is to the value of R80 000, over 4 years and will make you a CFP – Certified Financial Planner)



Here is a breakdown of the package they offer if this would interest you:



There is a basic for the first 3 months whilst training and mentoring are conducted. The biggest difference is that you do not do cold calling like with other insurance company’s – you will be provided with leads and existing client base to service.



The position is commission based and the commission is paid out at 3, 25% of the total product value, and also on line with the legislation requirements. The average product is around R1200 per month with Annual product income (API) at R12000.00. Currently the Lapse rate is at 5% nationwide. To use a simple example, a client policy says he must pay R1000 over a 20 year period this will mean that the Total Product Value (TPV) is R240000 and the commission paid out will be R7800.00 on this deal alone.



Please note that there is no commission split and it is all your commission.



What will be provided is a desk and office space for you to utilize and there are no cost directed to you with a monthly charge like say a desk fee. A Desk, with Phone and internet capabilities will be provided.



In addition to you commission earnings the company pay a nominal amount of R420 for member commission. Members are people that clients that qualify for a company product but have not signed for a product. They will however join the company membership at no charge to them and to them they will receive monthly news letters and email updates on markets, products, and any information that might affect their financial wellbeing. Note it’s at no charge to members to be a member. This should help cover monthly cell phone bills, fuel, lunch or anything as one can easily reach R8400 with only 20 new members and this is outside commission.



The primary responsibility is to provide company products to clients; however, this has a draw back as the product is limited to only Professional individuals. The Company also has Momentum products that can be offered to all clients irrespective of their LSM Demographics. This initiative should help booster the commission pool and earning potential for each FA.
